Milan Linate Airport

The nearest airport to our hotel three star is' Airport "Enrico Forlanini" Linate (LIN).

The airport is home to only domestic traffic, and low-cost and is located in the east of the city, which is connected by the ATM line 73 (Piazza San Babila ).

The airport of Milan-Linate (LIN), named after Enrico Forlanini, is the second airport of Milan.
Being a true " city airport " (given the proximity with the city Lombard), accepts only the domestic and European short-haul. Also departing from different low-cost airlines .

The airport has one terminal and two runways, one for the commercial traffic and one for general aviation.

Although the official name is " airport Enrico Forlanini ", named after aviation pioneer and inventor, born in Milan, the Milan airport is better known by the name of the site which is located near (Linate , Behind the common Segrate and Peschiera Borromeo).

The other stops are in Milan, l ' airport Milan Malpensa (MXP) , in the province of Varese, and l' Airport Bergamo-Orio to Serio in the province of Bergamo.

Linate and the other two airports are connected through various bus lines and highways.

The Milan airport was the site of the most serious air disaster ever happened in Italy. On 8 October 2001 flight of 686 SAS, to Copenhagen, Collis with a small private plane, because of dense fog, suddenly invaded the runway during its takeoff.
